Mruk lab studies the bacterial genetics with special focus on:
 

  • Genetic regulatory networks and gene expression control

  • Molecular basis of genetic switch and temporal regulators

  • Biology and dynamics of restriction-modification systems

  • Control of horizontal gene transfer

  • Bacteria – phages interaction dynamics
